The goal of the programme is to expand sustainable land and water management (SLWM) in targeted landscapes and climate vulnerable areas of the Sahel and West Africa regions. This publication consists of a comprehensive justification of the programme, the strategic approach, risks and benefits, the financing strategies, and key stakeholders involved in implementation of the programme. Included in the annexure are preliminary project summaries from 13 countries in the targeted regions.
