This book of guidelines and best practise take a practical field approach to the adoption of sustainable land management (SLM) in Africa. Presented in the book are 13 major groups of SLM approaches, demonstrated through 47 case studies from the continent. The book is divided into two parts with part 1 providing a comprehensive examination of the guidelines and principles of SLM and part 2 presents the best SLM practises in Africa. These guidelines and case studies can be used to develop a framework for investments related to SLM in Africa.
