To this end, the country has expressed its full support for the Convention to Combat Desertification (CCD) by ratification in 1997, the preparation of its National Action Plan to Combat Desertification (NAP/CCD), which was adopted by the Government by the Decree N°1999-2003 of March 11, 2003.
