With the support of AUDA-NEPAD ABNE and partners, significant progress was made in countries like eSwatini, Ethiopia and Nigeria with the commercial release of Bt cotton. Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria and Mozambique are also making significant progress towards the the cultivation of GM food crops, especially maize.
