NEPAD Agency and JICA jointly established the Africa Kaizen Initiative (AKI) in 2017. Only eight AU Member States, including Tunisia have adopted Kaizen management.
The pilot Skills Initiative for Africa Program (SIFA) was launched in Tunisia and four other pilot countries. The Initiative aims to support Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a means of increasing employment opportunities mainly for youth and women.
Tunisia is a part of the North Africa Transmission (DFS) project, which involves the construction of a 2,700 km transmission line from Morocco to Egypt through Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.
Tunisia is among the countries that received advocacy support, which contributed to strengthening of Negotiation Capacities of African countries on Post-2015 Development Agenda through the Common African Position (CAP).
