The Outlook Report presents the findings of the first phase of the Study of the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA). Covered in the study are the four infrastructure services, whose outcome will enable African stakeholders to effectively facilitate the enhancement of regional infrastructure, leading to the envisaged continental integration of PIDA. The transport overview in the report focuses on the African Regional Transport Infrastructure Network (ARTIN). The energy section covers over 90% of Africa’s power transport and generation. Ten river basins and 3 aquifers were studied to compile the trans boundary water resources section. The ICT outcomes are based on 90 per cent of Africa’s connectivity.
