Emmanuel Bensah

Biography:
Emmanuel Bensah is deputy executive director of AfCFTA Policy Network with cumulative experience of UNECA, OECD Sahel West Africa as a policy analyst.
Bensah has served as GIZ management consultant in 2011 (Web & PR Strategy) at the Africa Peace & Security Programme at Addis Ababa University.
Since 2016, Bensah moderated at international conferences, including African Union’s (AU) Regional Youth Consultation in Abuja in 2017; NEPAD’s Africa Environment Partnership Programme in Nairobi; and in Dakar, where he moderated a session on “Institutional Architecture of the African Continental Free Trade Area” at a stakeholder’s forum for private sector and civil society held in November 2018.
In 2019, he published his first e-book titled, "How ECOWAS & AU managed West African conflicts 2011-2017. " This included an analysis of Gambian crisis in 2017, which was selected to feature in Ghana's largest circulating paper Daily Graphic.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Politics obtained from the Brussels-based Centre Européen de Récherche Internationales et Stratégiques in 2003.
