The NEPAD Agency  invites eligible consultants to express their interest in undertaking the Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services to undertake a consultancy to “Undertake a Baseline Study on Mine Health Regulation and Occupational Health and Safety Service in Southern Africa.”

EXPECTED OUTPUT AND DELIVERABLES

The study is expected to generate knowledge that will inform the design and implementation of interventions for strengthening mine health regulatory systems and occupational health service delivery in the four countries under the SATBHSS project.

Interested Consultancy firms with proven experience and track record in conducting studies on mine dust control, Occupational Health and Safety Services and regulatory systems strengthening.

The consultancy firm should be able to undertake the assignment within Eighteen (18) months. Consultancy firms will be required to submit the following documents which will be also form as shortlisting criteria;

1. An Official signed Letter from an authorized official, expressing interest of the firm to participate in the Consultancy,
2. General profile and background of the firm which should elaborate the following:
   1. Core Business of the firms
   2. Names of authorized representatives of the firms (Power of Attorney).
   3. In the cases of Consortiums/Partnerships/Associations shall be required to submit Joint venture Agreements/Joint Association letters stating the lead firm.
   4. Commercial Registration of the firms attaching Registrations certificates.
   5. Tax Clearance Certificate/ Value Added Tax Certificate.
3. Experience of the Firms in handling consultancy services of similar assignments in the past five years.
