Two weeks ago, a technical working visit took place between the Executive Secretary of CCTTFA and the RIITP team. The outcome of the working visit culminated into the drafting of an Aide Memoire. Whilst at the NEPAD Offices,  the Executive Secretary paid a courtesy visit with the NEPAD Agency CEO, Dr Ibrahim Mayaki and discussed  ways in which the NEPAD support to the CCTTFA can be strengthened. The Aide Memoire aims to define the areas of cooperation between the NEPAD Agency and the CCTTFA for the years 2017 and 2018. The focus will be on the alignment of working arrangements around project preparation and financing. Through this agreement the two institutions will create a platform for sharing of information and coordination on projects and joint planning and coordination of forthcoming events of mutual interest. 

The RIITP team planning meeting is convened to set objectives and results-oriented work-plans for 2017. This is tied to the Programmes’s objective of strengthening the strategic objectives of the NEPAD Agency in the context of accelerating key infrastructure projects and initiatives.
