Joseph Sarpong is the headmaster of Adidome Farm Institute, an agricultural training college in Ghana’s Volta Region. The partnership between Joseph’s institution and the CAADP ATVET project yielded big results: after 50 years in business, Adidome Farm Institute received official accreditation to implement technical vocational education and training (TVET). Joseph believes that the pineapple value chain holds significant job opportunities for unemployed youth in Ghana. He hopes that more young Ghanaians will take up training to enhance their employability at his institution.
