Africa Day Celebration
The commemoration of Africa Day this year comes at a rather difficult time when most of the world’s attention has shifted to the fight against COVID-19. During this unusual period, AUDA-NEPAD has decided to combine reflection and joy as we commemorate Africa Day. Please join the AUDA-NEPAD CEO and his guests to reflect on the Conducive Conditions for Development in Africa.
The African Union theme for 2020 is ‘Silencing the guns: Creating Conducive Conditions for Africa's Development.’ In celebrating Africa Day this year, we will therefore focus on efforts to accelerate and amplify Africa’s economic and social development as requisite conditions to silencing the guns.
