Africa’s economic development is closely interrelated with the health status of its population. With the overall health systems in Africa already overstretched by the high prevalence of endemic diseases (HIV-AIDS, TB, Malaria, etc.,), Member States should focus on containment and aggressive preventive measures. The main goal of this response area is for AUDA-NEPAD to support Member States in accelerating containment measures against COVID-19.
