NEPAD focuses on strengthening agriculture, fostering food and nutrition security, promoting blue economy, improving environmental governance, facilitating the adoption of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies and promoting of sustainable mining at national, regional and continental levels.The programme’s objective is to provide the African Union Member States with innovative development and implementation capacities for viable Natural Resources Management and placing them on the path of inclusive growth and sustainable development.
